Floral notes are a perennial favourite. Themes of single floral notes, called ‘soliflores’ such as the soft, romantic rose perform a symphony through the senses. Powdery accents orris root or the sweet, heady notes of vanilla, can mature a floral note into a chorus of aromatic, soft flower bouquets. Heady, light, blossoming notes are words often used to describe abstract aromas of complex blends, often perfected by the addition of an orange blossom or a sweet, aromatic spice.
